How to reach Corbett National Park

 

The easiest way to reach Corbett National Park is from the nearest town Ramnagar. Ramnagar has good access to cities like Lucknow, Nainital, Ranikhet, Haridwar, Dehradun and New Delhi via road.

Some of the important road distances, from Ramnagar, are listed below:
Delhi - 260 kms.
Lucknow - 145 kms.
Nainital - 105 kms.
Ranikhet - 112 kms.

 

By Air
Since the National Park does not have its own airstrip or helipad, domestic tourists have to travel to Phoolbagh (Patnanagar ), the nearest airport situated at a distance of 50km from the park. From Pantnagar, regular flight service is available connecting major cities of India. There are regular flights operating to New Delhi and Lucknow, from here.

 

By Rail
Reaching Corbett by rail is quite convenient. The nearest railway station being Ramnagar makes it easier for the tourists to reach the National Park. Regular trains and effective rail network connects it to all the prime cities and thus makes transportation to Corbet hassle free. Ranikhet Express is one of the trains operating on daily dasis connects Delhi and Ramnagar.

 

By Road
Jim Corbett National Park can be easily reached by motorable network of roads connecting it to major cities of India. There are regular buses plying from important cities like Delhi, Lucknow and Ramnagar. Private taxis can also be hired to reach the Park.One can easily reach Corbett from New Delhi through the Hapur - Muradabad - Ramnagar route .
